"Dolls" quest description

This quest is a dynamic game for finding gifts at home. You can easily prepare it yourself in about 30 minutes: you just need to print out the cards, cut and hide them according to detailed instructions, and then hide the gifts that the girls will find in the end of the quest. A whole hour of fun and searching is waiting for them! By the way, if there are boys in the company, they won't be bored either!

Plot and preparation

From the welcome letter, the girls learn that they must find and solve 10 riddles of the quest and collect 10 paper dolls – then they will find out where the gifts are hidden.

Preparing the game is very simple and fast – you need to read the instructions, print out the cards with tasks (you will need to cut or write the stash-words by letters). Then hide the tips according to the instructions, and at the end prepare gifts – they don’t have to be big, sweets or a pleasant surprise will also do.

No special props are required: printer, scissors, paper, perfume and, if desired, some clothes / accessories for dressing up.

Stashes

This is a home quest, it involves simple and accessible stashes:

• a blanket
• chair
• clothes
• smth delicious
• carpet
• rucksack
• shelf.

In three cards, you can choose and enter any place yourself, and gifts can be hidden in a convenient hiding place.

Who can participate

This quest can be played by one child or several girls and boys – we recommend no more than 8 people. And it will also be great if dads prepare such a quest for their wives and daughters – solving tasks together brings them very close and leaves a lot of cool memories. Don't forget to take photos or shoot videos.

There are tasks of different complexity – they are interesting for children over 6 years old (who can read) and teenagers: in some cards the children need to fold, cut, sniff, find their way through mazes, etc. We have included a creative task and fun dressing up into the quest: the games do not require the participation of an adult – you will only have to watch and record!

There is no need for a host to conduct this quest: when you have laid out the hints and hidden the gifts, your mission is over, and then the quest will "conduct itself". If the girls are still not very confident in reading and writing, help them with reading tasks and writing letters.

Our artists have designed eye-catching tasks and beautiful, diverse dolls. They look like real girls, not plastic mannequins with unrealistic shapes. They have simple names, different hobbies, body shapes and hair color. This girls’ quest implies a secret message: we are all different, beautiful in our own way and worthy of love.

The tasks look good in color and black-and-white printing both – the whole quest takes only 11 A4 pages.

Duration

The game time depends on the age and number of players and takes on average from 1 to 1.5 hours. It can be adjusted by hiding the cards with tasks more simply or intricately, giving participants hints if they need them.

What you need for the quest

1. To prepare the quest, you need a color or black-and-white printer, paper, scissors, gifts or sweets.
2. A perfume and a bag or basket with any clothes and accessories for the dressing up task – this is not necessary, if there is no opportunity to change clothes, you can simply draw outfits.
3. Children will need a pen or a felt-tip pen for solving tasks and scissors to cut the dolls from the task cards.
