This quest is a fun adventure game for adults: a ready–to-print set of puzzle cards. To pass the quest and get to the final gift, you need to find all the clues and solve the tasks.

How to prepare the quest

It is very simple to prepare the quest – the organizer needs to read the instructions, print out the task cards on a color or black-and-white printer and cut two of them. Then hide the clue cards along the chain in the house or in the street in such a way that the answer to the task of the first clue points to the hiding place where the second clue is hidden, and so on.

On average, it takes 20-30 minutes to prepare a quest. Take care of a gift/surprise for the player in advance. If several people are playing, it is desirable that everyone gets something in the final. You will succeed, even if you have never done a quest before!

Where to arrange the quest

You can conduct this quest at home, in the office, in a cafe, in the street (in the countryside, at a recreation center or in a gazebo). Practically anywhere! The quest uses the following hiding places in the house:

• flowerpot (house plant, vase with flowers, painting with trees/flowers);
• source of light (lamp, floor lamp, chandelier);
• hallway;
• table;
• pillow;
• mirror;
• “your favorite place" (bed, computer, etc.)
• food (refrigerator, shelf with groceries, tea area, bag with groceries, etc.);
• mat;
• nightstand (you need to hide a gift in it).

Stashes outside:

• pathway;
• source of light (a lantern, spotlight);
• bottle;
• bench;
• pocket (anyone’s pocket or any item of clothes with pockets);
• window;
• «your favourite place» (garden chair, swings, BBQ, etc);
• food (festive table, bag with food, even a seedbed);
• wheel (car, bike, cart, toy car, etc);
• plant (bush, tree – hid the gift here).

Who can participate

The quest can be played by one adult (over 16 years old, as some tasks will be incomprehensible or difficult for younger players) or one team of up to 8 people (men and women). You can also play with two teams (one indoors, the other outdoors), but it is desirable to have no more than 8 people in each team.

The duration depends on the thoroughness of hiding hints, the number of people and the playing area. On average, completing the quest takes from 50 minutes to 1.5 hours. The playing time can be adjusted by hiding the hints more simply or intricately; the organizer can also give out hints (to get them, the players have to perform some task: sing, dance, take staged selfies, kiss, pay, etc.).

• quest cards with 10 tasks for the house (8 pages for printing),
• quest cards with 10 tasks for the street (8 pages, the tasks are similar, but the answers are different),
• an envelope template (optionally, you can print envelopes and hide hints in them).
